I love honey mustard sauce, but it’s impossible to find a corn-free store bought version. I decided to create my own, and since I’ve never tried this type of sauce with shrimp, I thought it would be a good opportunity to do so. Now I’m sold! It was SO good!

5 Minute Paleo Honey Mustard Shrimp Recipe

 

Ingredients:

1 lb shrimp, peeled and de-veined

2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

1 teaspoon black pepper

¼ cup dijon mustard (365 brand is made with apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar)

⅛ cup honey

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon lemon juice

 

Making It:

  1. Cook the shrimp with the garlic and black pepper in a pan on the stove for about 3-5 minutes. The shrimp should be pink.
  2. Mix the mustard, honey, olive oil, and lemon juice in a small bowl with a whisk.
  3. Remove the shrimp from the pan and drizzle the sauce on top.
