Gluten-Free One-Pot Deconstructed Cabbage Rolls Recipe

Typically the only one-pot dishes I make are in the crock-pot, so when I was challenged to create a new one-pot recipe, I decided I wanted to try my hand at one on the stove. bake-a-bowl

For this recipe you’ll need Good Cook’s Sweet Creations Bake-A-Bowl (available at Bed Bath & Beyond, as well as on their website and in various stores), or something similar. I love using the bake-a-bowl because it’s really versatile and easy to use. Although I made bacon bowls in it, you could make any sweet or savory bowl recipe. The Bake-A-Bowl set comes with two pieces – the bottom where you put your bacon or batter, and the top that fits into the bottom and locks into it to make sure the bowls hold their shape. I have seriously always wanted to visit Puerto Rico. For starters, you don’t need a passport, so it’s super easy to travel there. Also, the country has 270 miles of coastline, plus has been featured in the Top 10 beaches from Travel Channel. Now, in case you couldn’t tell from just looking at my site, I love palm trees and the beach – i.e. a Puerto Rican vacation would rock! [Read more…]

5 Reasons To Use A Menstrual Cup - Including Some You May Not Have Thought Of

This might be kind of an icky topic to discuss, but in addition to sharing recipes, I like sharing paleo-friendly/natural products with you all. In the past I’ve tried out two different types of menstrual cups. Without mentioning the brands, I will say that I really had major problems with both of them – a ridiculous amount of leaking no matter what I did. I had given up on using a cup until the opportunity came along to try out SckoonCup. [Read more…]
