The Importance Of Life Insurance For Stay-At-Home Moms

Getting life insurance has never really been a priority for me. In fact, I hadn't thought about it that much. Life insurance for my hubby - of course! Because if something happened to him, how would I pay the bills since he brings home the bacon?

37 Delicious Memorial Day Recipe Ideas For Sides, Main Dishes, And Desserts

Throwing or going to a cook-out this Memorial Day? Some of my go-to BBQ-friendly dishes are basic baked green beans (I put 1 lb of green beans on an aluminum foil lined baking dish, season with cumin, garlic powder, black pepper, and ground mustard, bake until cooked through, then drizzle on some olive oil.), deviled eggs, and some sort of dessert. Last Memorial Day I made raw chocolate fudge. It was a good thing there was a fridge close by because otherwise it would have melted, so maybe raw fudge was not the best idea :-p

Here are some recipe ideas for Sides, Main Dishes, and Desserts. Many of these recipes are free of several allergens, or can be changed to fit your dietary needs (i.e. soy sauce can be replaced with coconut aminos). Some are also Paleo, Candida, and/or SCD friendly. {Feel free to contact me if you have questions about making substitutions in any of these recipes!}

Paleo Chocolate Pudding Topped Cookie Dough Bars Recipe

I was searching online trying to come up with a recipe to make using carob powder. It was my first time using carob, so I wanted to make something fun. I was in the mood for chocolate pudding, but since I wanted to post the recipe here, I didn't think just a simple pudding would be unique enough. Enter my crazy and delicious concoction of chocolate pudding topped cookie dough bars. The bars smell like smores when baked, and are a little gooey and raw on the inside, which is okay because there are no eggs.
