  Cheesy Bacon Wrapped Turkey Recipe

I love bacon. By itself. On pretty much anything. Any time of the day. Even if you don’t like bacon as much as me, I think you’ll like this dish. So please do yourself a favor and wrap some turkey or chicken in bacon, plus throw in some goat cheese while you’re at it.

2 lbs turkey thighs or breast – you can also use chicken

2-3 slices of bacon per piece of turkey – I ended up using a full pack for the entire 2 lbs.

4 oz goat cheese

½ tablespoon garlic powder

½ tablespoon parsley

½ tablespoon oregano

Making It:

  1. Slice the turkey into smaller strips if desired. I sliced mine and ended up with 6 pieces.
  2. Season the turkey, then spread goat cheese on the top of each piece.
  3. Wrap each piece of turkey in bacon.
  4. Cook on the stove or in the oven. I cooked mine on a cast iron grill on the stove to brown each side, then transferred it to the oven at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes. Whichever way you cook it, make sure the internal temperature of each piece reaches 165 degrees.

  1. holy cow! I can’t wait to try this!

  2. I love anything involving bacon. Have never had goat cheese before. Is it very strong?
